If so, please contact Kent Police or Crimestoppers (ref 08-0186). There is a £500 reward on offer from the Parish Council to anyone who provides information which results in a conviction or formal caution be issued to a person or persons who have caused criminal damage to the parish owned bus shelters.

Local Core Plan Strategy - The Examination Hearings resumed on Tuesday 8 April 2014 at 9:30 am. The Parish Council upheld its objection to a greenbelt review. Please find the closing statement of Gravesham Borough Council here. A decision from the Planning Inspector is due in July 2014.

The Annual Parish Meeting of Meopham will be held on Tuesday 6th May 2014 at the St Johnís Centre, Wrotham Road, Meopham and will commence at 6.00 pm. The meeting provides parishioners with the opportunity to hear from the Mayor of Gravesham who will outline the aspects of public life and services in our community. We are delighted also this year to welcome a representative from the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE), Protect Kent who will give a presentation on the threat to the greenbelt in rural areas, in particular in Gravesham, following the Local Plan Core Strategy Examination. The meeting will be followed by refreshments and the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council which commences at 7.30 pm. Our Annual Report will be published at this meeting. There will be an opportunity at both meetings for parishioners to raise matters of interest or concern.

The Proposed Redevelopment of Judsons Pavilion, Judsons Recreation Ground, Wrotham Road, Meopham - The Parish Council are inviting quotes from contractors for the proposed development at Judsons. It is important to note that this is not a tender process but is solely for the purpose of meeting the criteria for applying for grants. A formal tender process will take place once funding is secured. Please contact the Parish Clerk, Sarah Steven, to gain a copy of the plans on mpcclerk@btconnect.com.

Parish Council - Enabling the Parish Council to communicate with parish residents, containing details of parish council meeting minutes, the parish plan, planning applications and information about the councillors.
